Inaugurated in 1964 in honor of Nobel laureate Georg Wittig (Heidelberg, Germany), the ICPC series has been the leading international conference devoted exclusively to PHOSPHORUS chemistry for six decades. We are delighted to continue this legacy with ICPC25. This event will offer a comprehensive overview of the latest advances in all areas of modern phosphorus chemistry, including interdisciplinary research at the crossroads of biology, materials science and applied or industrial chemistry.

Four session topics will be held:

1. New Developments in Phosphorus Chemistry
2. Applications of Phosphorus Catalysts in Syntheses
3. Phosphorus Chemistry and Life in Health Science
4. Phosphorus Material Chemistry & Applied Science

The conference will feature an expanded range of interactive formats designed to foster scientific exchange, including 18 invited lectures, around 60 oral communications selected from submitted abstracts, exhibitions and dedicated poster sessions offering many opportunities for discussion and networking. In addition, together with the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP) we will co-organise a session on Progress and obstacles to producing industrial organo-P chemicals without P₄.

Special awards will be presented to recognize the most outstanding oral presentations and the most impactful posters, celebrating the innovation, clarity, and scientific contributions of our participants:

• The Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan Award and the Chemistry Letters Young Researcher Award for the best oral communications.

• Two Poster Prizes, sponsored by the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry and the European Journal of Organic Chemistry.

ICPC25 is endorsed by IUPAC.
